A report at Deadline reports that the young adult novels “The Arcana Chronicles” is set to become a series over Warner Bros. TV .

Warners acquired the rights to Kresley Cole’s series of novels with Jennifer Gibgot’s studio-based Offspring Entertainment producing. The first book “Poison Princess” will be adapted by writer Seamus Kevin Fahey (Battlestar Galactica, The Following) .

“Poison Princess” is a Dystopian tale in the vein of the Hunger Games and Divergent, where a young girl realises she has the power to rebuild the world.

There are three books in the Arcana Chronicles series; Poison Princess (2012), Endless Knight (2013) and the Dead of Winter (2015), a fourth novel will be released next year.
