With the critical and financial success of “Rogue Nation” that has made $682 million worldwide thus far, the news of McQuarrie’s to return is of little surprise. However, this would mark the first time in the series that a director has helmed more than one film. The sixth film in the Tom Cruise led series is set to start filming in August next year, with a target of a Summer 2017 release date.
