In expected news, after various rumors and murmurings , “Mission: Impossible: Rogue Nation” director Christopher McQuarrie has announced via Twitter that he his back for the sixth instalment in the spy franchise.

With the critical and financial success of “Rogue Nation” that has made $682 million worldwide thus far, the news of McQuarrie’s to return is of little surprise. However, this would mark the first time in the series that a director has helmed more than one film. The sixth film in the Tom Cruise led series is set to start filming in August next year, with a target of a Summer 2017 release date.
