After the success of “House of Cards”, Netflix and David Fincher are re-teaming for a second drama series, “Mindhunter”.
The series will be based on Based on John Douglas and Mark Olshanker’s 1996 book “Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit”.
The book follows Olshanker’s 25 year career in the FBI, where he developed criminal profiling techniques that helped track down serial killers.
Charlize Theron is onboard to executive produce along with Fincher and the show was originally developed at HBO through Theron’s Denver and Delilah. Joe Penhall (“The Road”) is set to write the script, with Fincher set to direct.
