As previously reported Mark Ruffalo has confirmed to the New York Daily News the upcoming “Thor: Ragnarok” will be a buddy movie with Bruce Banner and the God of Thunder. He also went onto say that they will lock horns and do battle again like they famously did in the first “Avengers” movie:
“I don’t really know that much about it, but I think it’s going to be a buddy picture with Thor and Bruce Banner. I think they’ll probably fight. There’s no doubt, everyone wants us to fight at one point.”
Quizzed further on the storyline of the movie Ruffalo says he is in the dark as much as everyone else:
“I know that it’s about (the Norse legends of) Ragnarok, or the end times in the Marvel universe as it pertains to Thor – which seems to be quite the theme these days in movies.”
Taika Waititi will direct the third “Thor” movie that is due to start filming mid-way through next year. With the story said to take place on a distant planet that is neither Earth or Asgard, which led to speculation that “Planet Hulk” elements will feature in the action.
