The premiere of the “Vinyl” the rock n’ roll drama from Martin Scorsese, Terence Winter and Mick Jagger on February 14th on HBO is expected to push back the premiere of the upcoming 6th Season of “Game of Thrones”.
It is traditional for Game of Thrones to premiere on HBO in late March to Mid April at the latest, now Vanity Fair reports that the show start date may not start until early May after the 10 week run “Vinyl”.
The article goes on the speculate a more logical reason behind this pushback, the Books. Could be HBO giving George R.R. Martin and publishers Penguin Random House just a little more time to get the sixth book in the series released before the premiere of the sixth season of the show. There has been plenty of clues to indicate that the book will come out early next year.
Whatever the reason for the delay there is no doubt we will have to wait a little longer for our weekly dose of Westeros and to learn the true fate of Jon Snow, the question now is how long.
