Is there such a thing as too much “Star Wars” news? I think not. Today according to the treasure chest that is latest bumper “Star Wars: The Force Awaknes” issue of Entertainment Weekly we have a runtime for the sci-fi fantasy sequel.

The length of the space opera epic “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is two hours and fifteen minutes (135mins). It certainly feels like this runtime hits that sweet spot, where the movie will satisfy our thirst for new “Star Wars” lore without dragging, but still leave us hungry for more.

Abrams locked the movie on November 3rd, with the editing complete, with visual effects and sound still being worked on. John Williams also still has one more session to add his iconic themes to the score, then that’s it, we will have a brand new “Star Wars” movie. What exciting times we live in as fans of genre pictures.

There’s also been brief snippets of new footages courtesy of a Disney XD promos. In the footage we get a brief look, for the first time in action of Domhnall Gleeson’s General Hux. Watch the footage in two videos below.
