CBS’s “Supergirl” has been teasing audiences with the Superman’s presence up to now, with a few cameos of the character shot in the shadows or behind.
They are now poised to give the character some more screen time, by casting a 13 year old Kal-El with “future leading man looks”. According to a report from TV Line, the successful actor will play a recurring role of a teenage Clark Kent, with him first appearing in the 13th episode. The character will appear via flashbacks with that will establish the cherished bond with his relation Kara.
“Supergirl” started strong on CBS, but has since seen some drop-off in ratings. Even so, the most recent episode still managed to pull in 7.2 million viewers in Live + Same Day ratings.
